In 1958 the plaque was attached to the newly built Medical Center, ca.1974 the Medical Center became Morris Medical Center P.A. In 1975 Dr. Busain came to Morris. In ca.1978 the Medical Center was attached to the hospital by a crossway but the doctors organization remained independent. The plaque was removed and put into storage. In 1994 there was a merger of the medical functions, doctors were no longer independent of the hospital. The hospital was bought by the Morris Medical Center P.A. From 1997- January 2004 the plague was on the wall of the Prairie Medical Association Building at 202 E. 7th Street, Morris.

The plaque is on permanent loan to the Stevens County Historical Society.
