Description

Silk and velvet crazy quilt with a variety of colors, piece sizes, decorative stitch styles, and embroidered patterns. The quilt has 20 26" squares. The lining is sturdy dark gray cotton with small designs, the edges are piped with red.
Embroidered in script are the words: "Norske Luthersk Kvinde forening Glenwood, Minnesota 1890" which means Norwegian Lutheran Ladies society. The initials N.N. and C.A.A. are also embroidered on the quilt.
