Beer stein produced in Western Germany. Stein holds 1/8 liters and features a music box on the bottom with the movement by MAPSA of Switzerland. Decorated on body with scene of a man in lederhosen and a woman in a dirndl of the Salzburg region. Two cartouches on either side with relief of castles, Neuschwanstein on one and the other bearing resemblance to either Marksburg or Rheinstein. Text beneath cartouches reads, "Ein kühler Trunk, hält ewig jung" [A cool drink, keeps you young forever]. Bottom of stein features putti/cherubs playing horns. Bottom part was previously broken and glued together with hot-melt adhesive. Music box on bottom plays the tune, "Trink Brüderlein" [Drink Little Brother]. Stein is topped with a hinged pewter lid.
