Description
Silver metal sextant or other navigational device; cross bar with half circle on side marked with degrees; moveable dial attached to center, also marked with degrees; a threaded knob at center; inscribed “J. Prentice / 1 Chambers St. N.Y.” on top of cross bar.

Used by William J. Munro, Jr., while a ship captain.
