German beer stein produced by Albert Jacob Thewalt. Listed as Catalogue No. 385, the body is portrays a scene of a group of men and women dancing. Two women sit a table playing the zither while a man looks on and the rest dance. Base is decorated with edelweiss and an inscription reading, "Bei Bier u. Scherz bleibt froh d. Herz" [With beer and good humor does the heart stay happy].
