Description

Yoke, wooden, hand made by Mr. Peter Bielenberg. This was the type of yoke that was used to carry water from the spring or cistern, usually worn by a woman. This was hand made by Mr.Bielenberg, of Wasioja area. It is 37 inches long, and has an iron hook on each end, which is held in place with two bolts. This was brought to the museum by Mr. Harold Stafford, for Mr. Gronert, when he was helping Mr. Gronert prepare for his auction.
