Bow bender was owned by Floyd Vorse. This came from the east then Dodge County, Wi., then to Claremont Township, Dodge County, MN. It was brought to Dodge County in April 1867. Bow bender, Don't know if this is true, but I was told this was used to bend the bows which went around the neck of the oxen in the yoke. They would soak the wood in water until it became soft and then tie it around the end of the bow bender to form a half. 8.5" x 2" x 57.5", with a 11/2" hole.
