Description
One (1) color poster depicting the Heritage Tower and Memorial Garden. The illustration is of a tall tower with two engraved sides facing the viewer. It is shaded by a tree and is in front of a low building. The poster displays the words "Heritage Tower and Memorial Garden" and "Columbia Heights" in large text along with the Columbia Heights logo. The smaller text on the bottom of the poster reads: "The stone monument located in the roundabout at Jefferson Street and Huset Parkway represents one of four themes: diversity, labor, education, and recreation. Art students from Columbia Academy and the high school generated ideas for the images, and a smaller committee of art students continued work on the art for the tower. The Heritage Tower is the city's final phase in its 10-year quest to promote peace and opportunity."
