Oil painting by Amanda Reynolds of her children: William, Charles, Frank, Datus, and Hannah (son Paul not yet born).
Amanda Reynolds was married to Rev. Alexander Reynolds, a Methodist minister in Austin.  She attended art school in her native New York and often taught art lessons after coming to Austin with her husband.  Her daughter Hannah also became a painter.  She had 6 children with her husband - William, Charles, Frank, Datus, Paul, and Hannah.
