The front is stiff material with red grosgrain cotton covering. There are horizontal stitched lines across the protector. The back of it has horizontal rows of padding covered with red sateen cotton like material. There are red elastic suspenders that are 1" wide that go over each shoulder. They join in the back at a red leather oblong shape. On the back side of the shape printed in white is "R/AGP/TAIWAN". Connected to this shape is a brown leather strap. Inserted horizontally through the leather strap is a 1 1/2" wide red elastic strap. Each end of the strap has a metal push down clip to clip unto a metal ring on each side. The metal ring is attached by red leather. There is padding covered in red leather under the neck. On the back side on the upper right shoulder is a black cloth label. In a red square with a black and white line on the top and bottom in white is "Rawlings R".
