Description
Suspenders: Suspenders for Spanish-American War pants 1.1.3407a. The suspenders are brown and tan elastic. They attach in the front to two buttons on each side with a white leather attachment. There are brass clips for adjusting the size near the back of the suspenders. The suspenders are joined in the back with a white leather patch forming a single strap attached to a another patch separating the left and right sides of the suspenders. They are attached to the pants in the back by buttons. Condition - There is no elasticity left in the suspenders. MOLD - The pants had mold. It was laid out to dry and was vacuumed on 1/3/2006.

Worn in 1890s in Philippines by 1Sgt. Arthur Danielson of Red Wing, National Guard, Company G, 13th MN Volunteers.
