This large rectangular pink plastic doll case has a latch closing on one end and a plastic carrying handle on one side. The top shows 2 blond Barbie doll images; each in a different outfit. Lettering reads: World of Barbie; Sleep'n Keep Case. There is a round sticker, most likely not original to the case, with the theme of Pippi in the South Seas with a picture of Pippi.
Black lettering along the bottom of the top of the case: 1974 Mattel, Inc. Made and printed in U.S.A. All rights reserved. Recommended for Children 4 to 10. Not recommended for Children under 3 because of small parts. No 7899.
The top opens up to reveal a Barbie bedroom setting with 2 twin beds, a window that shows an outside scene with trees, birds, and flowers, and wall decor to decorate the bedroom. The bottom part of the case is the closet area area with a clothes hanging bar and an area with 2 pink doors secured by a toggle clasp that would serve for Barbie accessories.  At each end of the lower part of this case is a compartment for storage of a Barbie doll.
