Description

Padlock with key. Small round metal padlock; brass or bronze type metal covered in a heavy patina; "BUCK" in raised letters on front, "Made in U.S.A." pressed in back. Lock is functional with provided key. Key is small, silver-toned, with a heart-shaped head; round hole in head.
There are other keyholes on associated ballot box, so it is unlikely that the padlock dates as far back as the box, but has been in use for many years.
Used at Woodland Township, Wright County, Minnesota
Overall patina on lock. Minor overall corrosion on key. Slight bend in key that might be intentional.
