Mary Anderson Awards, 1975-2002, Greeting Card

Description

Greeting card to Mary Anderson: "Congratulations, Mary, on successful completion of a very challenging year as president. It's been delightful to work with you. It wasn't an easy year to be president. Throughout the year I've continued to be impressed with your handling of difficult situations with poise, graciousness and forthrightness when necessary. Few people I've worked with have your natural ability to handle public speaking responsibilities so effectively. I truly believe you have had an impact on improving the professionalism of the Leage [of Women Voters]. But beyond your competentness [sic], your ever present encouragement and support have meant a lot. I'll never forget the surprise warm rhubarb pie on a day I was really dragging. What a day brightener! Thanks again for all your assistance. Keep in touch! - Diane [last name unknown]"
