Brass heat regulator produced by the Electric Heat Regulator Co. Known as the "Minneapolis" this thermometer worked in tandem with a motor to open vents in the furnace to allow air in and heat the home. This thermostat originally featured a clock which could be set to heat the home at a desired time.
