Description
This fork bar was used to break apart blocks of ice during ice harvesting. It was used by Lorenz Gades of Glenwood, Minnesota for the Minnewaska Ice Company. The blocks were scored and sawed, then the fork would break them apart to get the blocks floating in the lake.
