Description
Cabinet card photograph of William Markus. He is shown from the shoulder up in a suit and is looking off to the right. "Jacoby" and "Minneapolis" are printed beneath the image with the monogram "CLJ" between the words. The back of the card features an illustration of a camera with a card with a sign leaning against it, which reads "Chas. L. Jacoby | 250 & 252 | Nicollet Ave | Minneapolis Minn. | copies may always be had."
"Given to Rebecca M Pond by her mother - 7/217/30" is handwritten across the top of the back of the card. "Born Germany Nov 2 1823 Died June 5 1895 Wm Markus" is written further down. Both notes are in blue pen but appear to be in different handwriting.
