Three (3) documents related to the death of Mrs. Inez Gillis. The first document is an In Memoriam stating that the funeral for Gillis was to be held on May 26, 1955 at the First Congregational Church. The second document is a memorial record, which recorded who called to give their condolences. Inez Gillis's place of internment is at Forest Hill Cemetery in Anoka, Minnesota and her funeral service was held at Thurstons Chapel in Anoka, Minnesota. The third document is a newspaper clipping of Gillis's obituary which says she died at 86 years old on Wednesday, May 25. She was born in Bangor, Maine, daughter of Robert and Lucy Warren Whidden and was married to Frank Gillis on October 15, 1896. As of 1955, Gillis is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Beach of Richmond, Washington, and Mrs. Frances G. Fawcett of Anoka, Minnesota, and one grandchild.
