Jarts: The Original Lawn Darts GameCreation Date
1980sDescription
One (1) box of "Jarts: The Original Lawn Darts Game," created by the company Regent. Jarts, as well as other Lawn Darts were outlawed to produce or sell after a number of tragic accidents. They later became illegal to own due to the danger they posed, as they were a game played by children that involved throwing heavy, spiked metal. The Jarts packaging is yellow and green with instructions printed on the back. It advertises itself as "an outdoor skill game for adults" and warns against children playing without supervision. These lawn darts were owned by Vickie Wendel, who rediscovered and donated them during the construction of ACHS's suburban exhibit.
