John Parrish, commander of Minnewaska Veterans of Foreign Wars - VFW Post 3815 and Rueben Wilson, firing squad commander, prepare to hoist new 50 star United States flag to the top of the flag pole at the court house. The new flag was presented to the county at ceremonial rites Monday morning by the Glenwood VFW post. The former 49-star flag was turned over to the Pope County Historical Society.
