Description

"Since my quilt was smaller and quilted very lightly, I was able to finish it in about a week. It is dated with the day I finished it. The designer encouraged people to post a photo of their finished quilt on her Facebook page. Within the first week after posting my plague doctor quilt, I had more than 350 'likes' with some quilters asking if I would mind if they used the same idea. I don't know how many did, but I guess mine was the first. I suggested that people document what they were doing during the pandemic to preserve this event at their own local history museum as it was my intent from the start to donate my quilt to ACHS. I hope others thought of their local historical societies, too!"
