Description

Brass or bronze sleigh bell; hemi-spherical lower half is divided into six sections, one of which is cracked; a 1.75" crack runs parallel above the central shoulder; the ring or fastener at the base of the bell is broken off and missing.

Belonged to Anton Mau of Rendsville Township.

Cleaned with Orvus WA and a stiff brush immediately after it was received. In addition to the cracks mentioned above, the bell is generally covered with a greenish corrosion.
