Deeds to historical sites are turned over to Pope County in the picture left to right, County Attorney Howard N. Groven, Representative Delbert Anderson, Mr. Fiskerbeck, J. H. Peterson, president of the Pope County Historical Society and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Iverson. The two families deeded 3 1/2 acres along 104 for use as a historical marker site and picnic grounds. 
As of today 2021 land is now Ordway prairie, roadside overlook.
