Description
2000.028.001   Japanese officer's sword and scabbard. The sword is 37 inches long (blade 27 in., hilt 10 inches). Hilt is ivory wrapped with cloth. The metal scabbard is 29.25 inches in length. Curved metal scabbard with single brass ring for attaching to belt. Brass ornamentation at top and bottom and two places elsewhere on scabbard. with brass ornamentation.
