"Fruitcake" - Chapter 12: (portions from it)
"Once upon a time, in 1939, a Calvary parishioner named Mabel Henderson gathered several of her church friends in her kitchen to make fruitcake. The ladies made the fruitcakes with Mrs. Henderson's recipe and sold them at Calvary. These humble beginnings launched the great Calvary Church fruitcake tradition." --- "There is a small fruitcake buried in the cornerstone of the new addition to Calvary. The original recipe, on a grease-stained card, remains in the Calvary safe." Head, George
