Description
2020.050.001  A.Hand carved bamboo crossbow made and used by the Montagnard tribe which inhabited the highlands od South Vietnam. Decorative artwork etched and painted on side and . Bone trigger, and two metal points located in groves on top where arrows would be placed.Twine bow string is attached in grooves at the two long arms of bow. B- two bamboo quivers one smaller diameter, one feather,.Shafts tied together with bamboo? cord. C- Bamboo woven shaft cover D-G- small narrow arrows with slit for placement of feather a small picture hanger and wire are attached to be able to hang it up.
