Description

Car driven by Richard Anderson of Long Beach, Minnesota, on the sidewalk against building. The brakes on his car failed near the intersection of Franklin Street and Minnesota Avenue. He avoided hitting other cars by steering his automobile toward a parking meter on Franklin Street, hoping it would stop his car, but the momentum knocked over the meter and the car crashed into the side of Glenwood Ben Franklin store. The car is damaged but Richard Anderson and his family, who were in the car, were unharmed.
