Description
Mayor Oliver N. Hoplin, proclaimed March 8-14, 1964 as Girl Scout Week in Glenwood, Minnesota. The proclamation pays tribute to Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. on their 52nd anniversary of continuous service to the community and country since the organization's founding on March 12, 1912. Pictured Mayor Holpin signs Girl Scout week proclamation. His daughter Jane Hoplin watches him sign the proclamation. She is a senior Girl Scout.
