Description
Construction was started in 1887 for shops to build and maintain the locomotives and cars for the railroad. After the railroad was acquired by Northern Pacific in 1900, the work was relocated to other shops. After 1916, the buildings were leased to other companies as warehouses. In 1979, the last of the buildings were demolished and today the Gladstone Savanna occupies the site.
