Oral history interviews with Lewis Haldorson conducted by Nort Schensted and Wanda Haldorson in November and December of 1970.
Lewis told about life in Norway, then living with others and helping on farms when he first came over.
Lewis had a hardware store in Glenwood. Lewis told about a tile in the basement of the store that ran to the Minton. He talked about the trip from Norway to America. They lived in Norwegian communities and didn't need to speak much English. His dad changed their name to Haldorson because there were so many Larsons.  He shared stories about storing up food for the winter.
