Description

Dress: Maternity: Red wool; 1 3/4" stand-up collar lined with paisley print brocade of blue , red, and green. Center front closure. Lining closure has eighteen 3/8" two hole brown with lighter circle button. Outer closure has three hooks with two thread loops and metal eye. Inside has 1/2" x 2 1/2" bias tape, two on either side (presumed to hold pleats together). Bodice has six pleats on either side of center of varying lengths. Dart from shoulder to bust and another dart from waistline to hip. Interior placket measures 18 3/4" Exterior opening 22 1/4". Back has princess lines with bustle insert of knife pleats seven either side of center. Concealed pocket in right rear princess seaming of skirt. Pocket measures 8 1/2"x 6". Leg o'mutton sleeve which is overlaid with 6" of paisley print silk brocade appearing as cuff. Skirt has hem facing of 6" of brown/green linen textured fabric. Dress is lined with plain weave red cotton fabric. Underarm loop of bias tape on one side.
