Bell Telephone claims that the method of transmitting messages by induction is illegal and expressly forbidden under the general rules and regulations of the company's tariffs, which are approved by the Minnesota state railroad and warehouse commission.
Maintenance men from the Northwestern Bell Glenwood office went to Peters and removed the two desk phones, which had been used to inductively transmit messages to room phones at the resort.
Legal action considered against Bell. Sound, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the distributors of the system, claims they will fight Bell.
