Description
A 1386 No. 2 5/10 pencil manufactured by Dixon Ticonderoga. With a hexagonal shape, the body is painted in the typical yellow.

The yellow pencil was formally introduced by the L&C Hardtmuth Co., know Koh-I-Noor Pencil Factory. The color yellow was meant to evoke Imperial China as the highest quality graphite was imported from China during the 19th century.
