This Minnesota Department of Highway photo shows the final shoulder grading and highway paving at station 20, which is halfway between McKnight Road and Century Avenue. Highway 12 became I-94 in later years. The field on the left side became the 3M Center. The buildings on the right are the district 12 one-room school house and the outhouse.
