Description

It is widely believed this tunnel allowed cows from the Poor Farm to pass under Prosperity Avenue from the farm to their pasture near Wakefield Lake. The eastern end of tunnel is now filled with dirt. However it is extremely narrow for a cow and may have been an early water drainage tunnel.
