Description
Wood trunk covered in painted canvas and reinforced with wood, metal, and leather straps. Corners and edges have brass and steel fittings. Keyed lock to close. "Barnum, Minneapolis, Minn" is on a metal plate on the top. John T. Barnum was a trunk maker in Minneapolis starting in 1880 after moving from New York State. He died in 1908 and is buried in Lakewood Cemetery.
