Description
A Standard Phonograph produced by Thomas A. Edison, Inc. The blackened metal phonograph is encased in wood with an arched cover and turned handle. On the front base of the casing are the words, "Edison" emblazoned in gold lettering. The cover can be locked into place by the use of two metal tabs on the sides. The metal base plate is attached to the case via a hinge and can be lifted to reveal the mechanism.
