8 grasshopper warrants from the State of Minnesota, County of Kandiyohi,  Willmar Township on various ditches requesting individual men to clean the road ditches. "An Act to provide for the destruction of grasshoppers and their eggs" approved March, 1877, to work kin said Town one day in each week for ___ weeks from the time in spring when said grasshoppers shall become large enough to be taken until the 1st of October following, for the purpose of catching and destroying grasshoppers and their eggs, have made out of list of the names of all persons against whom said tax has been assessed and who are liable, to labor in Road District No. ___ in said Town, and the number of days labor assessed to each and every such person, as follows:"  This was signed by supervisors, Ole P. Rice, Ths. Osmundson and And. Rasmussen on May 10th, 1877.
