Description

This 2 piece Naval Uniform was worn by Eugene Erickson in the Korean War.o8785.1  This white cotton jumper top has a V neck, a flap collar and long sleeves. There is an open pocket on the left chest area. The insignia on the left sleeve shoulder is a navy blue embroidered eagle, 2 navy blue  chevron bars and a black embroidered insignia which indicates Boilermaker. Stamped on the inside waistband: L-1682, P-1978, Y-2910, P-3841o8785.2  The white trousers has 1 button at the waistband and 5 belt loops. The front placket closes with 3 buttons. There is an open pocket on the left and right side. Inside, Erickson 263-18-35 is written on the left pocket, and Erickson E is written on the inside back waistband. Several places on the inside pockets have stamped numbers- most are too faded to read with accuracy.
