Skirt

Description
Three-piece light blue voile-basque dress with ivory silk lining. Blue fabric has a simple plaid pattern. Skirt has ivory ribbon along bottom. Matching belt with ivory ribbon and crystal accents. Matching bodice has large square lace yoke and standing lace collar. Ball tassels line the yoke. Ruffles 3/4 sleeves are darker blue. Jacket is matching plaid light blue fabric with 3/4 sleeves and ivory ribbon trim. Two large silver button closures at front. Donated by Veda Rock in 1971. Made by Hattie H. McGahn, who owned a dressmaking shop in Minneapolis.
