Description
Seven clear glass vials and one orange glass vial. All have metal lids which extend in both directions to a small round dial on one end and a long, 2-pronged point on the other. The point of the lid on one vial bends downward to a large bulb. These vials are part of the Reinald Johnson collection, donated by the Noble Medical Clinic in 1990. Dr. Reinald Johnson was born in 1910 in Isanti, Minnesota. He studied medicine at the University of Minnesota and served in WWII. He opened his own practice in St. Louis Park in November 1946 and worked there until 1968. He was appointed County Coroner in 1952 when the sitting coroner was convicted on 229 counts of narcotics violations. Johnson also practiced at Swedish Hospital and Methodist Hospital.
