Description
Hat - part of wedding attire worn by Mrs. Frank Eddy at their wedding June 24, 1885. It is made from Silk faille, taupe color, hand fashioned over a crown of white net, reinforced with wire tape. The crown of the hat is made of softly draped faille, a bow of three loops held in place by a large rose with green leaves and a stem. (The rose is missing.) The brim is of folds of faille wider at the front. It is lined with white sateen, an inner piece with the words: From Jennie Robson, Importer of French Millinery, Lacon, Ill.
