Description
"An all-cedar bark carrying basket, 10 by 4 1/2 inches. It has a slender twisted handle and is made in three shades of brown. The largest part of the basket is medium brown and running around the basket are two broad stripes of dark brown and yellow brown. These two horizontal stripes are separated from each other by a thin, dark brown stripe through the center. It was made by the Snohomish Indians,one of the Northwest tribes whose methods of basketry include the twined, the plaited, and coiled."

This plaited basket has 5 x 5 plaits per inch.
