Description

Wooden astragal plane with thin steel metal blade and straight semi-circular wooden wedge. Plane is flat and rectangular with rounded corners and edges. Plane has a light colored wood stain. Steel blade has two claw teeth on end. Blade and wedge are located near the middle of the plane through a hole through the plane. There are 2 ridges on the bottom of the plane. On the right side edge of plane is stamped: "SANDUSKY TOOL Co. / OHIO / 47". On the left side edge of plane is written in pencil: "W= / [over] Ed." as well as stamped "1/4 [one fourth]".
