Description
A surveyor's compass. Andrew Meneely made in West-Troy NY. A surveyor's vernier (compass). Gold/brassy colored metal holder for the compass. The compass is made out of an engraved metal sheet with degree and cardinal signs. There is a two sided metal point/hand to point to the direction. There is a glass covering the top of the compass. There are two level gauges, perpendicular to each other. The metal stand has two vertical metal points with various holes to attach the compass to something. There are knobs at the end of each point to secure the compass. There is a hollow cylinder attached to the back with adjustable knobs. Cardarelle, Frank
