Description
Night scene of Lake Harriet. The moon is full and shines through the clouds. A pavilion with people stands at the left, partially hidden by trees, but emanating a warm glow of light. People are seated on the coastline, watching the moon. A lone sailboat is docked on the left side of the coast. Created by Alexis Fournier in 1889. This work was lent to the University of Minnesota in 1975 for the Bicentennial Exhibition of Minnesota Art and Architecture Tour from March-December 1976.
