Description

Blue and white afghan originally sold as a fundraiser for MCHS around 2002.  Woven blanket with fringe features images of eight well-known Austin architectural landmarks:  Shaw Gym, the Opera House, First National Bank, the Courthouse, Fox Hotel, Austin High School, George Hirsh's Clothing Store, and St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

Painted rock left on the grounds of the Mower County Historical Society.  Part of a campaign (partnered with the Hormel Historic Home) called "History Rocks!"  Community members were invited to paint rocks and leave them on the grounds during the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic lock downs and stay home orders (summer-fall 2020).
