Description
Small black calot hat composed of a net body covered with beaded rope in the shape of wings. There is a tag that reads "Harold, Inc. Minneapolis". Harold was a Minneapolis-based clothing store known for its upscale women's apparel which operated in downtown Minneapolis' shopping district for over five decades. It opened in 1934 and was taken over by Robert Dayton, the great-grandson of Dayton's founder George Draper Dayton, in 1977. Like many department stores, Harold saw a downturn as the market shifted to corporate discount retailers in the 1980's. It closed its doors on October 19, 1990.
