Description

Wooden plane base with long rod. There is no blade.1969.003.0027a - Long wooden four sided square rod. One end has a wider part in the wood which is half of an inch wider than the rest of the rod. There is a metal nail through the head which pokes out on the longer edge. There is a circular cylinder of wood that wraps around the metal nail which is separate from the rest of the wood.1969.003.0027b - Dark stained wood part of a plane. The base has a curved whale tail shape. On the back the bottom edge has a rectangular cut out where a blade would go. The bottom of the front is curved. In the middle of the base there is a square hole with a small square jutting out. Andrew Craik
