IBM Brand Electric Typewriter and matching cover. 2020.001.0189a: IBM Typewriter. Large and heavy black steel metal rounded square body. Keyboard is made of squared gray plastic keys with white lettering. There are key lock switches on the bottom of front of typewriter. Embossed on front and back of typewriter in white block lettering: "IBM". Cover on top of typewriter flips open to reveal typebars. Round black rubber electric cord with three-prong electric plug attached to the back of the typewriter.2020.001.0188b: Typewriter cover. Shiny gray or silver plastic cover in the shape of matching typewriter. Raised seams with white cotton thread on sides and bottom. Dull exterior and shiny interior.
